Baby In Vain Release Cinematic Video for ‘The Urge’

Copenhagen trio Baby In Vain have unveiled the cinematic new video for ‘The Urge’. The video for the  synth-laden desert rock track see’s the band take a hazy trip around a Danish quarry in a hearse.

‘The Urge’ is taken from the band’s’ debut EP For The Kids, which was recently released by Partisan Records.

Video director Palle Demant says: “We talked about how to get the gear down to the limestone quarry in a cheap way – and I suggested renting an old hearse, because it’s dirt cheap, but then that idea started evolving. I remembered a cool photo that a Danish band Baby Woodrose did in front of a hearse – and then it took off from there. It then became a Russ Meyer inspired deathly desert trip. Some of the shots are also inspired by the first scenes in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”

Baby In Vain will return to the UK in October for a series of shows, including a headline date at London’s Birthdays on October 19th and a date supporting Fucked Up at Leeds’ Belgrave Music Hall.
