The number of Tory MPs standing down is the highest ahead of any general election since 1997.
The current post-war record for the longest gap between general elections is 1,848 days.
Parliament must be dissolved no later than March 26 for an election on May 2.
Almost 60 Conservatives and former Conservatives have said they will leave Parliament at the next election.
Some 54,308 people waited longer than 12 hours on a trolley for an emergency hospital bed in Jan 2024, compared to just 17 in Jan 2011.
