“The fact that this person has a career in British media says a lot of terrible things about our society,” one Twitter user said.
Around 30 Tory MPs could back a rebel amendment to guarantee the 0.7 per cent aid target continues to be met.
"I am just another guy, who cares where I am from? I’m just another human being. I feel like part of the UK has just turned aggressive against people like me.”

The newspaper reported: “In the almost five years following the referendum on our EU membership, eurocrats have forced banks to move thousands of jobs and hundreds of billions of pounds in assets from the city to the continent."
She is a well-known figure of the anti-vaccination movement and called the NHS “the new Auschwitz”.
“Other G7 countries are already stepping up. As G7 host, the UK must show its leadership," one person said.
