The much-loved Bristol bridge said a rise in "inappropriate content" and a "decrease in meaningful engagement" were behind its decision to quit the platform.
Vocal far-right individuals bolstered by faceless sinister accounts have turned the platform into an all-out hate festival.
It comes after Musk poured more than $119 million into canvassing for Donald Trump in seven battleground states in the US election.
