Jeremy Corbyn’s anecdote about a Swedish journalist’s assessment of his extreme hard-left policies has been going viral on social media.

In the clip, the former Labour leader – who has since been expelled from the party by his successor, Sir Keir Starmer – said he gave a short explanation about what he had proposed for Britain in 2019 to the journalist.

His party promised to bring in a Real Living Wage with equal rights at work from day one on the job.

They also pledged to end insecurity and exploitation by ending zero-hours contracts and strengthening trade union rights.
