The Labour Party will return to Liverpool in October for its annual conference where it hopes to set out its vision for Britain as a government in waiting.
Polling suggests Sir Keir Starmer’s party will romp home at the next election, and all the signs suggest that he’s readying the party for the occasion.
The Labour leader has to his new-look shadow cabinet that they face an “important and crucial” political period, with by-elections, party conferences, the King’s speech and an autumn statement in the coming months.
He said Labour needed to use its conference in October to “show that we are ready as a party” and “have the answers the country so desperately needs”.
But pictures party’s brochure, leaked ahead of the event, have raised a few eyebrows.
